Shipping within Australia
We ship items within Australia by Australia Post, Fastway & Toll Couriers. We reserve the right to select the shipping method used.
Free shipping on orders over $75
Flat rate of $9.85 for parcels under $75 in value.
If the combined order weight is greater than 125gms but less than 250gms and the items fit into a large envelope the rate is $5.50 - $6.00.
If the combined weight is less than 125g and the items fit into a large envelope the rate is $2.50 - $3.00.
Express Post is available and refers to the transit time between order postage and delivery to you and is provisioned by the Australia Post Express Post Network originating from Central Coast NSW to destinations within Australia.
Prompt delivery is given to destinations outside the Express Post Network. Freight charges are governed by the applicable Australia Post Express Post rate.
Express Post orders are not handled with priority before dispatch - Express Post is a shipping method only.
Lost or Damaged items
If the order is shipped by Australia Post we will make a claim for compensation on your behalf if the item is lost or damaged in the post, but, reimbursement is made at the discretion of Australia Post and usually only if insurance (freight protection) is purchased. Australia Post and other shipping companies otherwise generally (but not always) only reimburse the postage cost and not the cost of the goods unless the items are insured (i.e. you have selected Freight Protection). Please advise us if your parcel is missing or damaged and we will submit a claim on your behalf.
Orders are usually posted within 1-2 business days of receiving cleared payment unless we are experiencing a heavier than usual volume of orders. Exception to this is pre-orders where delivery is 3-4 weeks.
We are an online business and all orders are posted - NO PICKUPS OR DROP IN'S (shoppers) are allowed at our operation premises - sorry NO EXCEPTONS!
We charge the standard Australia Post rates for airmail with Tracking depending on your location. Shipping charges are determined by total order weight and country. You can easily calculate postage in the shopping cart before checkout.
Free shipping items are available for domestic shipping only. We will send you a PayPal Payment Request for shipping costs for items marked as "free shipping"
Cardmaking Online is not responsible for international customs duties, taxes etc.
On occasion our website will calculate international shipping incorrectly due to lightweight items that are bulky and do not fit into large letter size packaging e.g. gilding flakes, texture paste, gilding wax and some adhesives. If we find there has been an overcharge of shipping we refund the difference once your order has been shipped.
International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
Check Postage Costs While Placing An Order
To check shipping costs while ordering go to "View Cart" in top right hand corner and click on the "Estimate Shipping & Tax" option under the order subtotal to display available shipping options.
While we make every effort to keep our online store stock counts correct, from time to time items do run out, are placed on back order by our suppliers or are discontinued. If an item is unavailable after you have placed an order we will contact you by email and ask you if you would like to choose a substitute item or wait for new stock to arrive. If we have not received a response from you within two days we will ship the order minus the item and refund you the item price.
All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement/credit or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
There may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy.

Cardmaking Online will take every precaution to ensure that the goods supplied are in perfect condition and securely packaged when despatched. If the goods supplied, do not meet your expectations or are different to those ordered, please contact us by email at email@example.com within 14 days of receipt to organise an exchange, credit or refund.
Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere.
We recommend you carefully preview any orders before finalising your order. Refunds will not be given for books, CD's, DVD's, stitching patterns or sale items.
If approval has been obtained for a refund or exchange, products must be returned in their original unopened packaging - unless faulty.
Any loss or damage incurred during delivery is at the risk of the purchaser, insurance can be arranged if required by selecting "Postage Insurance" from the main menu.
For all returns other than products incorrectly supplied or faulty, the costs of return postage is the responsibility of the person returning the product/s. If we (or the manufacturer) determine that the product is defective, we will issue a credit/refund for the original purchase price of the product.
For all other returns contact us to receive your Return Authorisation.
You must make sure that the returned product is suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping. We will not accept responsibility for goods, which are damaged whilst in transit back to us. Do not write on or attach labels to the product being returned, otherwise the return may not be accepted.
We recommend that products returned by post be sent by Registered Mail if a large letter (all parcels sent with Australia Post include tracking now). We accept no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit. If a product is not returnable under this policy and/or is not returned to us in the original unopened packaging, it may be returned to you at your cost.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

SECTION 4 - BIGCOMMERCE
Our store is hosted on Bigcommerce Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Bigcommerce’s data storage, databases and the general Bigcommerce application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
SECTION 4 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. SECTION 5 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
